1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons vegetable bouillon / stock cube
1 pound processed cheese, cubed
4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
10 ounces broccoli, cooked - frozen packet broccoli is fine
Saute onion in butter in saucepan until tender.
Sprinkle with flour.
Stir in bouillon dissolved in 2 cups hot water.
Cook until smooth and thick stirring constantly.
Add cheese stirring until melted.
Stir in milk gradually, add seasonings and broccoli with cooking liquid mixing well.
Prepare everything ahead of cooking time.
